Cheap synthetic oil...is that possible ????

There's a little known secret about a very cheap yet very high quality oil that's great for any engine including motorcycles. It's called Shell Rotella T synthetic and it's a 100% synthetic oil made for trucks and other fleet vehicles. Don't be scared away yet though...I have plenty of links to convince you that there are other followers and I'm going to try it for myself. This oil can only be bought at truckstops, shell oil distributors, and truck repair shops (there a few online sources for the dino oil but no synthetic as of 3/10/2004). Check a place near you right here. I paid $15.93 out the door at Overlake Oil in Kirkland, WA. for 1 gallon. Usually it's sold as a gallon, a case of 6 gallons, or by drum ;) I bought 1 gallon, but if I like it I'll buy a few at a time for that price :) Here's a shot of the bottle:

The dino oil can be bought for $10 and is also a great oil for your VFR or any gas engine for that matter. Check out a few of the numerous links addressing this oil in VFR's and other vehicles.

Supposedly WalMart sells Rotella T Synth as well for $14. I need to confirm that when I run out of my supply.
